Police-free in ECE

In 2020, Megan Madison and I invited early childhood educators to “rethink police as community helpers”. Teachers were eager to learn about how dominant narratives about police, punitive problem-solving and uses of teacher power impact children and families. They wanted more time, support and accountability to make real changes to their pedagogy and practice.

Now, I’m offering regular collective coaching to a group of educators who are serious about this work.
